Curriculum development or design is the main focus of the work of the Medical Education Unit. Curriculum development includes: determining the societal and educational needs of students, then defining goals and learning outcomes, selecting content and teaching methods, and evaluating students based on those goals and outcomes. The unit also plays an advisory role by responding to questions and requests for technical support from various departments and units of the college and faculty members in the college, as well as introducing modern systems in teaching, assessment and training in coordination with the various departments, units and departments of the college.

Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University is interested in e-learning and is working to include it in the learning methods of the various faculties of the university, and for that the university has provided the necessary infrastructure for this, and the Faculty of Medicine has started planning to take advantage of the huge capabilities provided by the university for this purpose, and the Medical Education Unit is working with the support of the faculty administration And in cooperation with its various departments and the Deanship of Information Systems and E-Learning at the university, to plan some educational courses and courses to be taught electronically and interactively within the plan of the college’s developed curriculum.
